Though barely out of grade school when this came out, I still was wise enough to question the casting of Glenn Close as Williams' mother. She couldn't have been any older than Williams, yet Hollywood had already pegged her to play older.
Or maybe she just came off as more mature.... which, when you're cast opposite Robin Williams, isn't all that difficult.
