Review of The World According to Garp (1982) by Laura M — 13 Jun 2008
I just love what this film says about "weird people," and how they make their own way and find their pleasures and pains which make them just like everyone else on a very basic level. With genuinely poignant and gritty performances from Robin W, Glenn Close, and John Lithgow (major props here).
. I just never get tired of this one. I am sorry to say that I don't really understand the ending, but maybe the randomness of it is entirely the point.
