Review of The World According to Garp (1982) by Dan T — 09 Nov 2008
I generally go for films that combine tragedy, whimsy, and the absurd, but something didn't quite click for me here. The characters were interesting (I especially enjoyed Roberta), but it all felt rather rushed.
To me, the episodic approach seems more appropriate for a longer format.
