Review of The Words (2012) by Jon A — 12 Sep 2012
I just cant believe that The Expendables 2 received more favorable reviews than The Words. I thought the pace was just right, building tension as it went. Its more than just a story about how one might deal with plagiarism.
Its also about dealing with how to accept ones own limitations, and dealing as an artist with self criticism. All the actors did an excellent job, playing the roles as the pros they are, giving heart felt performances.
Zoe was a huge and pleasant surprise, and did a beautiful job. Jeremy Irons is always incredible. I understand that The Words is a totally different type of movie than The Expendables 2, but for these critics to totally blow this one off, I really can't understand.
I recommend that anyone who is in any way attracted to this movie to go see it!
