From the start, the narration by Quaid is a little much. The humor seems very predictable, which in turn makes it forced. Bradley Cooper does what he can with his effort, I respect that. Other than Cooper, the film itself doesn't offer much.
You don't really connect or feel for any of the characters, fictional or nonfictional. 4.26.13.
