You know...its very few times that I am in the mood for a true romantic film. today I turned down seeing Batman and chose this film...and while I agree it was overly complicated for the final payoff, I truly did enjoy myself. I think where most people expect a romantic movie to end in a certain way, I think this ones ending was definitely thought provoking and gave my wife and I more than a few passing moments discussion what it all meant...which for me is a sign of a good romantic movie.

This one allowed my wife and I to truly bond over the discussion of the film...and while most films just fill you with a warm fuzzy feeling that dies quickly...this one created a dialogue with my wife that has truly made us closer as a couple...and thats saying something after 14 years...

All in all I am glad I took the risk...and I would only suggest this to people who dont want their romance spoon fed to them...
