Review of The Words (2012) by Janine J — 19 Sep 2012
Definitely not as bad as the rating indicates. I did kind of think that the frame story with Quaid was unnecessary and boring (as was Zoe Saldana's character), but I did enjoy the main story. Anytime Jeremy Irons was on screen, I found myself attentive.
The biggest problem I had was the message, and the "resolution" that basically tried to sell the idea that sticking your head in the sand makes things go away. That somewhat soured an otherwise good movie.
