Review of The Woodsman (2004) by Karl J — 13 Jan 2007
A good film about one of the most reviled and misunderstood characters living amongst us: pedophiles. Are they like that because they are lonely and desperate for human companionship or is it really an uncontrollable desire for something so forbidden in our society they risk being scrutinized for life just for a chance at it? These were the questions I asked myself when I saw this movie.
Kevin Bacon does a good job in this movie, and I liked Mos Def's turn as a detective you hate because he does his job so well.
