Review of The Woodsman (2004) by Harry T — 21 Jun 2007
Dark and moody, with loads of tension. What I like is the compassion given to Bacon's character, the willingness to portray him as human, even though his past actions were so morally repugnant. This film realizes the complexity of human behaviour, the explained and often unexplained, and is more about understanding than condemnation.
