A movie about a pedophile's struggle. The thing is watching a movie about a pedophile is not too enjoyable. The fact that he suffers gains him no sympathy because he's a pedophile. The movie is not impacting, revelatory, nor does it traverse the depths of a perverse mind.
It simply gives examples of obvious consequences of molesting children. Though I will say Kevin Bacon's performance is noteworthy.
