This movie came off to me as a grittier "Lolita," in which you end-up feeling some sort of empathy for a pedophile. Granted, Kevin Bacon's character is way more blue-collar than Humbert Humbert ever was, but I'd still say this movie deserves to be sought out, watched, and discussed.
