This movie is a lesson in subtlety and repression. Everything about this movie is low-key, and it works well. Because when something happens that is unexpected or is cringe-worthy, you get shocked. Kevin Bacon and the rest of the cast are all brilliant.
There are moments when I actually go "Oh" in sympathy or fear.
