Review of The Woodsman (2004) by Jason R — 28 Jul 2009
A lean and unapologetic piece about a type of person that is too simplistically judged. Although some may raise the question, 'Is the director trying to make us sympathise and feel sorry for pedophiles?' - I think more important is the mind and portrayal of such a character in an honest and humane way.
However, there could have been more character development and overall depth in the storyline itself. A thought-provoking experience regardless.
