Review of The Woodsman (2004) by Neil R — 31 Jan 2010
A quiet, unassuming masterpiece. Though the subject matter will be a very uncomfortable one for most, I strongly urge everyone to see it.
Ultimately, this is a film about redemption and the long hard road to achieving it. It's not an easy film to watch, but if you don't feel a touch of sympathy for Kevin Bacon's masterful portail of Walter, you're not human.
