Review of The Woodsman (2004) by Jesse C — 13 Dec 2008
A controversial but necessary perspective is brought to the screen in this quiet movie about a convicted pedophile trying desperately to find some normalcy in his life and within himself. It manages to inject some humanity into a character that society would prefer to think of as simply being a monster.
Difficult, confronting, powerful viewing.
