Review of The Wonderful Wizard of Oz (1910) by Martin T — 29 Sep 2009
Not a huge fan of silent films...This is based more on the stage play and is bizarre. Dorothy meets the Scarecrow before the tornado, is sucked to Oz with a donkey and cow, Toto gets transformed into a giant bulldog, and fights Momba to rescue the Wizard.
Worth checking out if you want to see the evolution of the story on film.
