This film asks not what the Apollo astronauts did, but what are their thoughts on what they did. An interesting & original premise, but the reality is less exciting - inevitably they are a bunch of flawed old men, some of whom have taken weird turns in later life.
Despite its aims, the movie makes the case that the real story was the Apollo program, and not the individuals who crewed it.
