The cinematography is quite good but this is probably the least accurate historical movie ever made. Actual events are for the most part literally the opposite of what is portrayed and villains by any measure.
This is essentially the equivalent of making a movie with a story about Jeffrey Dahmer's heroic struggles with a overwhelming eating disorder. There are so many real heroes in history to write about so a story that is false to this degree really is tragic.
