Review of The Woman in the Fifth (2011) by Daniel P — 16 Jan 2013
Provocative, enigmatic and Polanski-esque drama that divided audiences over whether the film was brave and smart leaving do many unanswered questions, or frustrating and deliberately difficult. I loved every minute.
In particular, the stunning photography, beautiful editing and subtle performance from Ethan Hawke. A haunting mystery.
