Can we all agree that the rocking chair rocking by itself is waaay overplayed and not remotely scary any more? That was a horrible movie that wasn't remotely scary and relies purely on a handful of "rah" moments to keep you awake.
Everyone involved in making this movie should study The Babadook for a clue of what constitutes a good horror movie.
