Review of The Woman in Black (1989) by Chris H — 01 Sep 2009
A decently-made British TV movie about a young solicitor who goes to a small sea-side town to settle the estate of a deceased old woman. After spending a night or two in her house he discovers that she doesn't like sharing her house with anyone.
It's well acted and suspensful and has a nice, gloomy mood throughout. It has a cheap, TV movie quality to it and it's pretty dated but check it out if you like haunted house films.
