Review of The Wolverine (2013) by Charles T — 03 May 2014
It is interesting to see how Hugh Jackman and wolverine have evolved since x-men, they have both become more experienced, tougher and grittier in what they do. The wolverine is an improvement over former superheroe movies, in that there isn't senseless violence and everything happening at once, but paces itself, and isn't big, wolverine is on his own, fighting his own fight.
But of course at the climax is the usual, stupid violence that belongs in the 90's cartoon series.
