Review of The Wolverine (2013) by Paul C — 05 Apr 2015
Wolverine is the most compelling of all the X-Men characters and this stand alone movie was fun but not as great as the X-Men films. The action sequences were great but it did seem like there could of been a few more instead of all the in between, lengthy dialogue and story.
The plot was easy to follow but at times it dragged on to much unless you are really into the X-Men world, you won't care to much about the in depth look at Wolverine. The other characters were not ones the average viewer will recognize but they were fun and all brought a little flare to the film.
One thing is for sure, Hugh Jackman can be the only Wolverine, he is perfect for the part in every way and while this movie does the character justice it needed a little something more to make it great.
