Review of The Wolverine (2013) by Wes S — 29 Jul 2015
A rather bland, uninspired plot that feels pretty different from other X-men movies, at least the Japanese environment keeps it somewhat more interesting. The action, plot, and the film itself doesn't pick up until the final act, leaving the rest of it to slug along and slowly evolve into something more.
There are some good thrills and suspense though, and the characters hold up just fine.
