Review of The Wolverine (2013) by Steven S — 13 Feb 2016
The Wolverine has a very different feel than almost all the other movies in the franchise (sans x-men 3). It starts out very depressing. The mighty has fallen. And fallen hard. But like a true hero, he presses forward. And I'll not give more away.
I didn't like the historical inaccuracy that the Japanese freed their prisoners of war when the bomb dropped. I understand none of us look to Hollywood for our history, but, that had to be called out.
Overall, great flick. A must see, especially if you are a fan of the franchise.
