Review of The Wolverine (2013) by Bubbs R — 14 Jun 2017
(In Preparation for "Logan", I'm watching and reviewing the other Wolverine films).
This is definitely the best Wolverine film to date. Maybe even one of the best X-Men films. The story is so action packed and thrilling. The idea of Wolverine losing his powers is a cool concept for a film. This one is definitely one of my favorite X-Men films (Alongside Days Of Future Past and X-Men United). Hugh Jackman did excellent as Wolverine as always, he was born for this role. The rest of the cast did super well. The cinematography was well done, especially the scenes where Wolverine was shot and he actually feels the pain. The stunts were well performed. The film never had a dull moment, always action filled. The Runtime isn't to long, a perfect runtime for this film. This film isn't perfect, but it's super enjoyable. Overall, This is one of the better X-Men films. I Can't wait to check out "Logan" when it hits theaters.
