Review of The Wolverine (2013) by Matthew G — 17 Dec 2014
While the last 20 minutes are cliche and has a ridiculous twist, Jackman delivers his best performance as the clawed hero. It's a film about the title character, which is what Origins suffered from.
Logan's immortality is finally addressed as a burden and his trademark loner attitude is intact. Japan is beautifully framed and the fights are well choreographed.
