Review of The Wolfpack (2015) by Christine W — 10 Jul 2015
The Wolfpack is what a good documentary portrait should be- shows rather than tells, provokes ideas about human nature, expands my awareness of other lives so different from my own yet told with moments of emotional familiarity.
Kudos to Crystal Moselle, the filmmaker, for spotting these six unusually dressed young men on the streets of NYC five years ago and realizing there was a story to be told about their unusual and highly physically constricted upbringing.
