Review of The Wolf Man (1941) by Tristan D — 07 May 2009
The definitive werewolf movie. Lon will rip your heart out (both emotionally and literally) as the title character. An amazingly tragic story with a fine musical score and just how can one argue with a supporting cast that includes Rains, Lugosi, Ankers and Ouspenskaya? There are some continuity issues but Siodmak's strong script more than makes up for it.
