Review of The Wolf Man (1941) by Richard G — 13 Dec 2010
Made in 1941,After being bitten by a werewolf,Larry Talbot (Lon Chaney Jr.) is infected with the curse that turns him into a werewolf when there's a full moon.A truly iconic performance from Chaney Jr.
'The Wolfman' is a great example of of a decent 40s monster movie, although Universal have been here before with 'Werewolf of London' their 2nd stab at the werewolf Genre is perfect, the atmosphere and pacing make it a delightfully exhilarating watch,oh and I love the fog in it too,a classic to be enjoyed on a cold winter's night.
