Review of The Wolf Man (1941) by Allen R — 20 May 2011
Not having seen this since I was a kid, 30 years ago, I'd forgotten how much movie there isn't. At a sparse 70 minutes, elements like character and suspense are left by the wayside. A fantastic cast including the great Claude Rains, Ralph Bellamy, and Bela Lugosi are largely wasted in a film seriously in need of some fleshing out.
