One has to appreciate Lon Chaney's character's compulsive level of truth-telling in dating. "I like those earrings just fine, but even better are the ones I saw you wearing in your bedroom last night." In the 1940's, the courtship process apparently consisted of stalking. Big ups for honesty, Larry!
That said, it was a fun movie. Thanks to Skip and the Avon Theater staff for showing it for free Halloween night!
