Review of The Wizard of Oz (1925) by Bill C — 25 Oct 2008
While "Gone with the Wind" got the oscar, this delightful film has been proven by its durability to be the true "BEST PICTURE" of 1939. I've seen it on the big screen three times in addition to all the tv and dvd viewings.
It's magic, creativity and vaudeville camp hold up beautifully.
