Review of The Wizard of Oz (1925) by Linda H — 03 Dec 2008
Bearing no resemblence to the Judy Garland version this silent version was made 14 years earlier. Now Hugely politically incorrect with its racial stereotypes. I don't think it bears much resemeblence to Baum's story, either.
Lots of slapstick chases, but the storyline is initially confusing, coming in from three different viewpoints.
