One of the best 80s B-movies of all time.
With that said, I have to warn those who aren't in on the video game scene, that this is really a pretty horrible movie with dialogue so bad that it's memorable.
Pretty much an ad for various Nintendo products (such as the PowerGlove, which I love... because it's so bad.) that lasts an hour and a half.
The main reason kids like me piled into the theaters to see this film was for one thing:
Super Mario Bros. 3 revealed for the first time to the general public.
...Well... that... and to develop a crush on Jenny Lewis.
