Review of The Wizard (1989) by Terror A — 13 Nov 2007
This is a solid and entertaining family film that features good performances by Fred Savage and the supporting cast. Unfortunately it never really hooked me emotionally as it should have been and I don't know why but all the product placement in this film kind of bugged me a little bit (which is funny since a lot films today do this now but it never really annoyed me as much until I watched this film?Hmm).
Anyways this film did bring back all the memories of all the video games I use to play as a kid because I owned some of the games that are featured in this film (man, I wish I had a Super Nintendo right about now).
Overall it isn't as great as everyone as everyone has made it out to be and I do think that this film was created just to sell video games but it was still fun and I enjoyed it nonetheless.
