Review of The Witches of Eastwick (1987) by Mloy X — 04 Oct 2010
What could have been a seriously gross and disturbingly "icky" movie turned out to be a really entertaining and funny film thanks to a great ensemble cast headed by the charismatic Jack Nicholson, whose devilish Daryl character was just too charming not to like.
I especially love the "What about a little kindness" scene with Alenxadra, which was just so kooky but also so endearing. Veronica Cartwright's character was scary when I first saw this film when I was younger, but as disturbing at it was, it was still pretty incredible.
Still a pretty good film.
