Review of The Witches (1990) by James J — 07 Jul 2008
Nicolas Roeg is quickly becoming one of my favorite directors. He creates wonderful worlds inside of our own, worlds that are troubled by a tenuous and fragile nature. This movie plagued my youth by putting frailty into my imaginary worlds.
It is a unique and potent horror movie, even today. Roald Dahl + 'Don't Look Now' Director= Why did my parents let me watch this?!
