Review of The Witch (2016) by John F — 25 May 2016
What is a horror movie these days? Not frightening, aside from maybe one or two jump scares. Mainly psychological is the answer, with perhaps religious overtones. Also, sometimes just a good setting and music with a very low budget and brand new actors.
I long for more of the 80's horror. Would not recommend this to many.
