Needed a new scary movie to watch for Halloween weekend, and saw this was on Amazon Prime. I remember how divisive it was when it came out earlier this year. Some were lauding it as the scariest movie in years, others dismissed it as a boring period piece.
I fall somewhere in the middle on it. It's really weird and creepy, but definitely not that scary. A different kind of approach to the horror genre, but I just couldn't fully embraced the concept.
It's ok.
