Review of The Witch (2016) by Benjamin F — 03 Feb 2017
The Witch is one of the best horror films in years. The visuals and score are fantastic. While the film is not scary in the traditional sense, it is extremely disturbing and dreadful (very much like Kubrick's The Shining).
This movie is an astounding debut film from Robert Eggers and I hope to see more from him in the future.
