"The Witch" is a horror period-piece that is slow at times, but fairly effective in creating a sense of dread as you watch an exiled family descend into madness. The filming, acting, and atmosphere are all well done, but the film would've been better if the Witch was included more, as it felt a little underwhelming by the end with how little was shown.
