The Witch its a Grey movie, and that plays in its favour, the lack of colour helps convey the feeling of uncertainty.
This movie is more about psychological fear than jump scares, its how horror should be done.
Its smart, and makes you really feel the environment where it takes place.
The witch isnt the scary thing in the woods, the whole place is creepy.
The movie is more about a family breaking from the inside and turning on each other than running from something scary.
Acting is great, Ralph Ineson , Anya Taylor-Joy and Kate Dickie really shine.
The singing scene with the twins was amazing, and the baby scene its one of the creepiest scenes I have ever seen.
A great horror movie, and a great movie in general.
