The Witch was fantastic. The acting, even amongst the child actors, was great. The score was creepy. The story was really suspenseful. I'll agree with a lot of the others here who say that it wasn't very scary.
However, it didn't feel like it was supposed to be overly scary. They didn't resort to cheap tricks or anything. They just told a really creepy story. It also didn't feel like it had been done before a million times.
It was a fresh perspective of witch folklore.
