Review of The Witch (2016) by Quietgiant — 21 Feb 2016
Wanted to love it after the excellent trailer, didn't quite live up to those hopes but still a decent film. It's not really a frightening piece so much as an unsettling one. There are a lot of beautiful elements here (cinematography, production values, solid performances, score), but somehow the sum is a bit less than its individual parts.
