Review of The Witch (2016) by Smoothzilla — 24 Feb 2016
This movie was fantastic! This was more of a slow burn of dread than an actual horror movie. This movie won't be for everyone, if you are expecting traditional jump scares you will be disapointed. This is more of a drama with themes of pride, fear of the unknown, and loss of faith, in a horror setting.
I won't give any spoilers, but while the acting was terrific, Black Phillip was the star of the show.
