Review of The Witch (2016) by Riaan_Radiohead — 23 May 2016
The Witch is an extremely well made art-house horror film that borrows heavy influence from recent masterpieces from the menacing gothic horror atmospherics of Paul Thomas Anderson's 'There will be Blood' to the religious overtones of Michael Haneke's 'White Ribbon' though this first time directors work cannot nearly match up to those remarkable films in substance.
