Review of The Witch (2016) by Lindsey H — 24 May 2017
It is a rare film that hits every nail on the head. The Witch not only has compelling and period-appropriate writing, but haunting sets, and fantastic actors. Never mind the two main adult actors, who were incredibly convincing and engaging, the children were knock down fabulous.
None of the children seemed fake or phony. I was completely immersed in the story, and at no point did I not believe I was looking through the portal of a time machine, back into to 1630.
