Review of The Wistful Widow of Wagon Gap (1947) by Brian B — 15 Nov 2008
Easily Bud & Lou's greatest western. It has a few classic routines and banter but the best part is Costello as the town sheriff. Even after all these years those scenes are an endless string of laughs.
Made my stomach hurt. Majorie Main is perfect as the widow and it's a shame she didn't appear with the boys more.
