Review of The Winter Guest (1997) by Fredrik G — 30 Dec 2008
This really is an exquisite little film. it's just one day in the bleak midwinter in a small town by the sea in scotland, where four different couples try to find some tenderness and love. an old woman and her grown-up daughter, the daughter's son and a girl, two 13-year old boys and finally two old ladies on their way to a funeral.
it's sad, affectionate and moving.
